Along with a BFA in Advertising design from, Art Center College of
Design, Richard Paynter has a BA in history from Grove City
College/City College London, Sir John Cass School of Art. Rick
worked for the advertising agencies, Ogilvy & Mather, Scali
McCabe and Sloves, and Bozell/IPG Group for clients such as,
Merrill Lynch, AIG Insurance, Bristol Myers, Chrysler Motors, GAF,
AT&T Bell Atlantic, Amnesty International, Bahamas Tourism,
UNISYS, Excedrin and The Partnership for Drug Free America.
Michael was born in London and came to New York in 1963.
From his studio in Manhattan he worked for clients such as
Merrill Lynch, Johnson&Johnson, AT&, US ARMY, Kodak, US
News and World Report, Cunard, British Airways, and many
others. He has won numerous awards for his advertising work.
He has photographed books including "Jackie Tales" and
"Chair" a monograph of the work of Ward Bennett. His
photography has taken him all over the world.
